A perfect day for photographs!  (The day before had been cold & rainy!  Thank you weather gods!)  We are outside the San Diego County Administration Building. 

Here's Gregory Smith 'posing' with us - he came outside just to help us take photos, what a gem he is.  We're being filmed for the Channel 8 news in this scene above!  The arbor we're standing under has just recently been erected due to the popularity of outdoor weddings at the Admin building.  On Valentines Day, 143 couples got married with a civil ceremony by Gregory or one of his team.  On a 'busy' day, around 40 couples get married here.

A special kiss... and breaking out the bubbly in the parking lot... why not!?

We've just been on live radio here!  Roger Hedgecock is the DJ in the background and that's Greg Smith again on the right!  He treated us like royalty on our special day!

Here's a few shots of the special ring that we both fell in love with.  A Marquis cut beautiful deep blue sapphire together with 30 diamonds, 15 on either side. 

Cool manicure, ay?!  And a special heart on Mari's left thumb for Valentines Day!

Mari's bouquet: two dozen ivory roses with a few sprigs of heather.  We made it ourselves, bound together the roses with a wide piece of satin ribbon, then tied on two pieces of trailing iridescent ribbon.
